Zaina AI is an informational platform. This page explains how the assistant works, what it can and cannot do, and how we govern its use responsibly.

Zaina AI is an informational wellness platform. It is not a medical service, does not provide diagnoses or clinical recommendations, and is not regulated as a medical device under the Medical Devices Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/54) or the SFDA Guidance on Digital Health Products (MDS-G27). All information is general in nature. Always consult a qualified medical professional before making any decision about an aesthetic or surgical procedure.
Zaina AI منصة معلومات للعافية. وهي ليست خدمة طبية، ولا تقدم تشخيصات أو توصيات سريرية، وليست منظَّمة بوصفها جهازاً طبياً بموجب نظام الأجهزة الطبية الصادر بالمرسوم الملكي رقم (م/54) أو إرشادات هيئة الغذاء والدواء السعودية بشأن المنتجات الصحية الرقمية (MDS-G27). جميع المعلومات ذات طابع عام. استشر دائماً متخصصاً طبياً مؤهلاً قبل اتخاذ أي قرار بشأن إجراء تجميلي أو جراحي.
Regulatory classification
التصنيف التنظيمي
Zaina AI is classified as a general wellness digital product under SFDA guidance on digital health products (MDS-G27). It is not a medical device, does not require medical device marketing authorisation, and is not regulated as a clinical tool under the Medical Devices Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/54).
The platform is labelled in Arabic and English as "not intended for medical purposes" in compliance with MDS-G27 requirements for wellness products.
تُصنَّف منصة Zaina AI بوصفها أداة رقمية للعافية العامة وفق توجيهات الهيئة السعودية للغذاء والدواء بشأن منتجات الصحة الرقمية (MDS-G27). وهي ليست جهازًا طبيًا، ولا تستلزم الحصول على تصريح تسويق للأجهزة الطبية، ولا تخضع للتنظيم بوصفها أداةً سريريةً بموجب نظام الأجهزة الطبية الصادر بالمرسوم الملكي رقم (م/54).
تحمل المنصة تسميةً باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية تفيد بأنها "غير مخصص للأغراض الطبية"، امتثالًا لمتطلبات MDS-G27 المتعلقة بمنتجات العافية.
What Zaina AI does — and does not do

Zaina AI provides general informational responses about aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery procedures — including techniques, recovery, risks, and questions to ask a surgeon. It does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatments, or provide personalised surgical recommendations based on your health status.
Every interaction ends with a recommendation to consult a qualified, licensed medical professional before making any decision.
يقدم Zaina AI ردودًا معلوماتية عامة حول إجراءات الطب التجميلي وجراحة التجميل، تشمل التقنيات وفترات التعافي والمخاطر والأسئلة التي ينبغي طرحها على الجراح. ولا يُشخّص الحالات الطبية، ولا يصف العلاجات، ولا يقدم توصيات جراحية مخصصة بناءً على وضعك الصحي.
تنتهي كل تفاعلات المساعد بالتوصية باستشارة متخصص طبي مؤهل ومرخص قبل اتخاذ أي قرار.
AI model and architecture
نموذج الذكاء الاصطناعي والبنية التقنية
Zaina AI uses a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture. When you ask a question, the system retrieves relevant content from a curated knowledge base of aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery information, then uses Claude — a large language model developed by Anthropic Inc. — to generate a response grounded in that content.
Zaina AI does not train or fine-tune the underlying AI model. Claude is a general-purpose foundational model; its core safety evaluation and testing are conducted by Anthropic. Zaina's responsibility is governing what content enters the knowledge base and how the model is instructed to behave within the platform.
Your conversation is transmitted to the Claude API for response generation only. It is not used to train AI models. It is not stored in connection with your identity.
يعتمد Zaina AI على بنية الجيل المعزز بالاسترجاع (RAG). حين تطرح سؤالاً، يسترجع النظام المحتوى ذا الصلة من قاعدة معرفية منسَّقة تتضمن معلومات عن الطب التجميلي وجراحة التجميل، ثم يستخدم Claude — نموذج اللغة الكبير الذي طوّرته شركة Anthropic Inc. — لتوليد إجابة مستندة إلى ذلك المحتوى.
لا يقوم Zaina AI بتدريب النموذج الأساسي أو ضبطه الدقيق. إذ إن Claude نموذج تأسيسي متعدد الأغراض، وتضطلع Anthropic بتقييم سلامته واختباره الجوهري. أما مسؤولية Zaina فتنحصر في إدارة المحتوى الذي يُغذّي قاعدة المعرفة، وتحديد آلية توجيه النموذج داخل المنصة.
تُرسَل محادثتك إلى واجهة برمجة تطبيقات Claude لأغراض توليد الردود فحسب، ولا تُستخدم في تدريب النماذج، ولا تُخزَّن مقرونةً بهويتك.
How we govern content
كيف نتحكم في المحتوى
The Zaina AI knowledge base is curated and maintained under a formal content governance policy. Content is included only if it meets defined criteria: general, population-level informational quality; sourced from peer-reviewed literature or professional medical guidance; and reviewed and approved by a Medical Liaison before inclusion.
The knowledge base is reviewed periodically for factual consistency with current published medical literature. Any response that appears to exceed the informational mandate is subject to an incident review process.
تُدار قاعدة معرفة Zaina AI وفق سياسة رسمية لحوكمة المحتوى. لا يُدرج أي محتوى إلا إذا استوفى معايير محددة: أن يكون ذا طابع معلوماتي عام على مستوى السكان، ومستندًا إلى أدبيات طبية محكّمة أو إرشادات مهنية طبية، وأن يخضع لمراجعة منسّق طبي والحصول على موافقته قبل إدراجه.
تخضع قاعدة المعرفة لمراجعات دورية للتحقق من اتساقها الواقعي مع الأدبيات الطبية المنشورة. وأي رد يبدو متجاوزًا للاختصاص المعلوماتي يخضع لإجراء مراجعة الحوادث.
Alignment with SDAIA AI ethics principles

Zaina AI is aligned with the SDAIA Principles and Controls of AI Ethics (September 2023), which apply to all entities using AI systems in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our implementation addresses each of the seven principles:

Addresses information asymmetry in aesthetic medicine. No manipulative design. Anonymised market data only shared with clinics.

Our knowledge base
قاعدة المعرفة لدينا
Zaina's responses are generated from a curated knowledge base covering aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery procedures. The knowledge base draws from publicly available medical literature, including clinical practice guidelines and peer-reviewed publications from recognised medical institutions. Primary source types include publications from professional bodies such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), as well as peer-reviewed journals including Aesthetic Surgery Journal and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Global Open. Content is sourced from peer-reviewed literature or professional medical guidance, and reviewed for factual consistency by a qualified Medical Liaison before inclusion. The assistant does not generate speculative or personalised clinical advice — it provides general procedural information only.
تستند ردود Zaina AI إلى قاعدة معرفية مُنسَّقة تغطي إجراءات الطب التجميلي والجراحة التجميلية. تستمد قاعدة المعرفة محتواها من الأدبيات الطبية المتاحة للعموم، بما فيها الإرشادات السريرية والمنشورات العلمية المحكَّمة الصادرة عن مؤسسات طبية معترف بها. تشمل أنواع المصادر الرئيسية منشورات الهيئات المهنية كالجمعية الأمريكية لجراحي التجميل (ASPS) والجمعية الدولية لجراحة التجميل الجمالية (ISAPS)، فضلاً عن المجلات العلمية المحكَّمة بما فيها Aesthetic Surgery Journal و Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Global Open. يُستمد المحتوى من الأدبيات العلمية المحكَّمة أو الإرشادات الطبية المهنية، ويخضع للمراجعة من قِبَل مسؤول طبي مؤهل للتحقق من اتساقه الواقعي قبل إدراجه. لا يقدم المساعد مشورة سريرية تخمينية أو شخصية — فهو يوفر معلومات عامة حول الإجراءات فحسب.
What 'Zaina Verified' means
ماذا تعني شارة 'Zaina Verified'؟
The Zaina Verified designation is applied to clinics that have been individually reviewed and confirmed to meet the following criteria:
- Active presence and verifiable contact details confirmed through direct review
- Confirmed offering of aesthetic medicine or plastic surgery services
- Consistent positive reputation indicators across public review platforms
Zaina Verified is an informational listing standard. It does not constitute a clinical accreditation, a medical endorsement, or a guarantee of outcomes. We recommend that patients independently verify the credentials and current licensing of any clinic or surgeon before booking a consultation.
تُمنح شارة Zaina Verified للعيادات التي جرى مراجعتها بشكل فردي والتحقق من استيفائها للمعايير التالية:
- حضور فاعل وبيانات تواصل قابلة للتحقق مؤكَّدة عبر مراجعة مباشرة
- تأكيد تقديم خدمات الطب التجميلي والجراحة التجميلية
- مؤشرات سمعة إيجابية ومتسقة عبر منصات التقييم العامة
Zaina Verified معيار قائمة معلوماتي. لا يُشكِّل اعتماداً سريرياً أو تأييداً طبياً أو ضماناً للنتائج. نوصي المرضى بالتحقق بصورة مستقلة من أوراق اعتماد أي عيادة أو جراح وترخيصه الحالي قبل جدولة استشارة.
Editorial independence
الاستقلالية التحريرية
Zaina earns a referral fee from partner clinics when a consultation is booked through the platform. This commercial relationship does not influence which clinics are listed, how they are described, or the informational content generated by the assistant. The knowledge base content is fixed and is not modified based on commercial relationships with any clinic.
تتقاضى Zaina رسوم إحالة من العيادات الشريكة عند حجز استشارة عبر المنصة. لا تؤثر هذه العلاقة التجارية على العيادات المُدرجة، ولا على طريقة وصفها، ولا على المحتوى المعلوماتي الذي يولده المساعد. محتوى قاعدة المعرفة ثابت ولا يُعدَّل بناءً على العلاقات التجارية مع أي عيادة.
